Can I use my own address in Pakistan as the registered agent?
No. The agent must have a physical street address inside the formation state and be available there during normal business hours — a foreign address, a PO box, or a virtual mailbox does not satisfy the statute. Every foreign-owned company uses a commercial registered agent for this reason.
What actually happens if my company has no agent?
The state can revoke your company's good standing and eventually administratively dissolve it — which banks and platforms notice.
