Requirements for a Valid Court Marriage
- Both parties adults — 18 or above in Punjab — with valid CNICs;
- Free consent of both, recorded in affidavits of free will;
- Nikah essentials — offer, acceptance and two adult witnesses, performed by a licensed nikah registrar;
- No subsisting bar — a previously married bride provides proof of divorce (effectiveness certificate) or widowhood; a man's second marriage requires s.6 MFLO permission;
- Registration — nikahnama registered with the Union Council; NADRA marriage certificate issued thereafter.

Our Court Marriage Process — Step by Step
- Private consultation. Both parties consult us with CNICs; we verify age, free consent and marital status, and answer every question in confidence.
- Documentation. CNIC copies, photographs and affidavits of free will prepared; special documents (divorce proof, conversion documentation where applicable) handled correctly.
- Nikah. Performed by a licensed nikah registrar with witnesses; dower (haq mehr) and nikahnama conditions recorded properly — clauses skipped here cause disputes for decades.
- Union Council registration. The nikahnama is registered and the computerized marriage certificate issued.
- NADRA certificate. Marital status updated in national records — needed for spouse visas, bank matters and inheritance.
- Protection where needed. If the couple apprehends harassment, we advise and pursue protective measures, including protection petitions.
Timeline: with complete documents, the marriage itself can be completed in a day; registration and NADRA certificate follow in the normal course. Fees are fixed and quoted in writing before you proceed.
